The People’s Platform is a roadmap and directive for our elected officials to fund the priorities of the people in 2023 and beyond. This isn’t a list of pie in the sky ideas, these are real solutions from real organizations on the ground in Buffalo.

In our city, all have access to safe and affordable housing, resources are fairly distributed and those who need them most are prioritized.

In our city, everybody has access to a robust, reliable, affordable, equitable public transportation system that prioritizes the needs of those who rely on it.
IMMIGRATION
In Our City, immigrants are not only welcome, but live their lives with dignity knowing that they are safe and respected, and that their rights are protected.
CLIMATE
In our city, race and class don’t determine a person’s ability to live a healthy life. We're a climate refuge because we've taken radical, active measures, not just said it.
EDUCATION
In our city, access to a quality public education is the premier method of investing in the future of our communities.
FRONTLINE ARTS
In our city, the arts and cultural institutions of frontline communities are recognized as vital to the city’s ecosystem and are supported allowing them to thrive.
POLICING
In our city, police protect and serve the people, poverty is not punished, and people’s basic needs are met creating a safer community for all.
FEDERAL FUNDING
In our city Federal funds go toward the people who need it most, not cover for fiscal mismanagement and plug budgetary holes.
